How to set up L2TP/IPsec on your Android device

This tutorial guide will walk you through the steps to manually set up a VPN for Android using the L2TP/IPsec protocol.

Add a new VPN connection

Go to Settings.

Click Network & internet.

Click Advanced.

Click +.

Set up a VPN connection

Fill next settings:

Name

TypeL2TP/IPSec PSK

Server address***.snowdenvpn.com

IPSec pre-shared key***

Usernamevpnuser

Password***

Click Save.

Connect to the VPN server

You will now see your new VPN connection in the VPN panel. Click the name of the connection.

Click Connect.

Awesome! Your VPN connection is now up and running.
